| Singer slams re-release as 'record label bullshit' and urges fans to ignore it.Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor has told fans not to waste their money buying the latest reissue of their debut album 'Pretty Hate Machine'.
The singer took to Twitter to urge people to "ignore" the new re-release, which he criticised for being a "record label bullshit move".
Nine Inch Nails originally released 'Pretty Hate Machine' in 1989 and Reznor worked with sound engineer Tom Baker on a remastered version of the LP which was released in November last year. That version also featured a cover of Queen’s 'Get Down, Make Love', which was on the B-side of their 1991 single 'Sin'. (Via NME...lol)

| Though I didn't get a chance to watch myself, i've seen a number of newsworthy highlights. * Trent touched on the subject of The Fragile's deluxe release which may include multi-tracks for all you remix artists. * The Fragile's re-release will be a 5.1 mix (blu-ray?). * Trent and Atticus will be score the film "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" set to be released November(ish). * Trent also hinted at releasing a "greatest hits" album, if it had meaning. * HTDA apparently wont sound much like the EP * Trent said he'd be happy to work with Marilyn Manson again, " We've had our differences, but Im an adult now, I wear suits". Source: NIN Army. As soon as the full interview becomes available, I'll be liable to forget all about it until prompted :/ | |

| Trent and Atticus scored a movie. Benefit for us: new music! You can get a 5-track sampler here: http://www.nullco.com/TSN/Note: I have recently been getting random spam from topspin after having signed up for a free download with them previously. Sign up at your own risk!Normal mp3 and MP3HD now available : http://mediafire.com/nympholeptNote: MP3HD files will play as 320k mp3 unless you have a plugin or capable player. Note 2: mp3HD files are still shown in winamp's info pane as "320k", but there are other ways to tell it's really playing mp3HD. I signed up 54 times and always got the normal mp3s. :( ( more details about soundtrack release )( message from trent )I'm a little confused whether this is a soundtrack or a score. Edit: sounds like a score to me. And it definitely has that post-nin HTDA sound.

| One year and one day after the last news from remix.nin: Fri, 21 May 2010 20:16:39 GMT: How To Destroy Angels MultitracksMultitrack files have been added for two How To Destroy Angels songs, "A Drowning" and "The Space in Between." To download them, click "MIX" in the menu above and login or register. On the MIX page, click "DOWNLOAD MULTI-TRACKS" and make your selection. I don't know why on earth there needs to be step by step instructions to get to a page that should be directly linkable: http://remix.nin.com/mix/download.phpSpeaking of which, direct links: (Angeles? Not MY typo - but they've fixed it now.) How to Destroy Angeles: The Space in BetweenHow to Destroy Angeles: A DrowningApparently, someone fucked up: How to Destroy Angeles: A Drowning v2. The real fuckup is why the first .torrent file is still available. Correct action: Delete the .torrent file, and revoke access to the tracker for that torrent.
Fri, 20 Mar 2009 19:23:46 GMT Jane's Addiction & Street Sweeper multitracksCoinciding with the release of the free NIN/JA 2009 Tour Sampler, three tracks from the EP have been made available as multitrack audio downloads here at remix. To download, log in and visit the MIX section in the top menu, then click "Download Multi-Tracks." If you're new to all of this, be sure to read the instructions in the MIX section carefully. Multitracks for the two NIN songs included on the NIN/JA sampler will be posted in a few weeks (I'm going to try to ignore the fact Trent called them "stems")

| No, that's not a typo in the title: This video is either "The Space in Between" by "How to Destroy Angels", or if you go by the filename, it's "Spaces Inbetween" by NIN. Seriously, the link I just downloaded this from is http://cpe.delvenetworks.com/[...]/nin_spaces_inbetween_hd_master_croped.mp4 (linked is probably customized, and won't work for you, I used Urlsnooper to get the URL, you can too.) Downloads: video (mp4) - demuxed audio (aac)edit: high quality now available - highest quality now available - demux audio from hi-Q video (aac) - and: MP4 container of MOV streams
Yeah, this is 16 hours late, I don't have internet at home. Is there no-one else who can post download links around here? Maybe people aren't sure they're supposed to post about HTDA here? Let's see how many people are active around here:

As with the last post, if you'd like to give money to the people who made the track, the best way I know of is via the NIN paypal account: store@nin.com - make sure you include the reason you're sending money. (The paypal account is also a good way to send Trent a birthday present.)

| As you may already be aware, Trent has a side project with his new wife Mariqueen, and Atticus. You may remember that last year, Trent spoke of a possible collaboration with Mariqueen, and that he's been speaking for years about the possibility of a "Nine Inch Nails with a female vocalist" side project. Here's the first track: megaupload (I'm unsure of the provenance of this mp3, I'll post my own stream rip soon.)My own stream capture/demux, because the only way to be sure that something is done right is to do it yourself, multiple times. There are a lot of shitty rips surfacing already, but this is the best possible quality rip of the pitchfork track. I demuxed it from the captured stream without recompressing, no better quality will be available unless Trent leaks it. (Or when it's available to buy)
Last year, Trent also mentioned that there would be a new Nine Inch Nails album this year, and we all know how fast he can record and release an album these days, so there's still plenty of time for some New NIN in a few months. Of course, Trent isn't always entirely correct in his predictions for the future. I'm still waiting for the multitracks for Not So Pretty Now and Non-Entity to be posted, which were supposed to be posted "in a few weeks", more than a year ago.
As always, you can donate via the NIN paypal account: store@nin.com - make sure you include the reason you're giving them money. (The same paypal account used for store.nin.com purchases - I just donated again, and it's working) I would share the Amazon track, but there is simply no point, since the 320kbps mp3 from the stream is higher bitrate than the 237kbit (VBR) mp3 on Amazon.

| 10.23.09: "The Downward Spiral: Live at Webster Hall" fan-produced DVD During the 2008 Lights In The Sky tour we began an open camera policy for stills and video during all NIN shows, inviting fans to capture the events with anything from a cell phone to a hi-def video camera. The results have been overwhelming, filling our own galleries with thousands of images and videos from every show, and inspiring a number of ambitious fansourced video projects within the NIN community. Some of those projects are starting to surface now, and we couldn't be happier with the way the fans have organized themselves and created some truly impressive work. On the recent Wave Goodbye tour, we were unable to professionally film the band's performance of The Downward Spiral at Webster Hall, due to exorbitant fees requested by the LiveNation venue. Our open camera policy, however, remained in tact, and as soon as the show ended fans took matters into their own hands, organizing online to track down everyone who had filmed HD footage of the show. Now, only two months later, the group has released a polished, edited, downloadable DVD of the full Downward Spiral performance from Webster Hall. The entire thing has been recorded, edited, and distributed entirely by fans, and it's the latest example of the amazing things fans will do when their creativity isn't limited by outdated, misguided restrictions. You can watch "The Downward Spiral: Live" in HD on this YouTube playlist. You can download it via torrent as a burnable DVD or an iPod/iPhone-friendly video from this page (click the question mark link on that page if you're new to downloading with torrents). We filmed all of the other final Wave Goodbye shows professionally, and you can expect to see that footage surface in some form or another in the future. In the meantime, we appreciate the efforts of The NIN Hotline, This One Is On Us, and everyone else who helped to immortalize the Webster Hall performance. posted by rob at 2:54pm | |

| Due to the pending sale of thepiratebay, I've made a backup of all .torrent files found through a search for "NIN" and "nine inch nails" as of August 1st. I have added several public trackers to the .torrents to ensure they will continue to be tracked indefinitely. I have sorted some of the torrents into folders - if someone would like to further sort these and trim the crap, feel free. Please distribute these .torrent files far and wide - upload them to mininova/demonoid/whereever. If you're seeding ANY nin torrents from thepiratebay, mine or otherwise - please download these and add the new trackers to your torrent clients. download from mediafire: as a zip or as a .torrentor, hilariously, from thepiratebaySee also: http://bit.ly/ETSDownloads - http://mediafire.com/nympholept - http://thepiratebay.org/nympholept If you like my torrents/uploads, do me a favour and write to admin@demonoid.com and ask them to unban nympholept | |

| The Virgin festival info has been added to tour.nin.com 2009-08-30 Oro-Medonte, ON Virgin Festival (Burl's Creek Park) on sale: click here presale: NA Keep your eye on tour.nin.com for updates about the NYC and LA public sales. Currently, the LA shows all say "nin.com only", but the originally said there was a public sale on the 31st for the Palladium and Wiltern shows. These presales are still expected to happen, probably through livenation. The Chicago public sale information is already up at ticketmaster. Good luck to everyone trying for public sale tickets.
If you experienced trouble with the musictoday presale, email them at nintix@musictoday.com with a detailed account of what happened. Musictoday seem to be under the mistaken impression that everything worked perfectly. I personally only got tickets because I ignored the "do not refresh" message and opened a new window. Even if you managed to get tickets - if you had any problems, or just thought the system sucks - tell them!

| Placed up at nin.com at 11:12 a.m. (the site seems down at the moment) NEW FINAL NIN DATES!
Getting right to the point, we're going to play a handful of shows in NYC, Chicago and LA starting August 22nd. They will be informal affairs in medium to small venues with longer set-lists, possible special guests, cool openers and other surprises. Upon reflection, the NIN/JA tour felt like we had to rush through sets due to a limited allotted set length and many shows were in daylight - it just didn't feel right to end NIN that way. An offer to headline V-Fest in Toronto (being announced soon) set the idea in motion to play some FUN shows to end this up with. If we can get it together we'll film these shows, too.
In NYC we'll be playing Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Terminal 5. In Chicago, the Aragon Ballroom. In LA we'll be at The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda, The Palladium and The Echoplex. These should be cool, unusual and unique shows and I hope you come out - this is it.
So far, The Horrors will be joining us for some shows in NYC, Mew will be with us at other shows in NYC, Chicago and LA, and perhaps more. Details and ticket info will be announced shortly, so check back.
Thanks, Trent
